Locale
(WARNING: LOCALE IS AN ANDROID APP THAT AUTOMATES TASKS ON YOUR PHONE. THIS FEATURE ONLY WORKS WITH LOCALE INSTALLED)
FsIntents is now also a Locale plugin! You can check-in to foursquare with Locale and costumize your check-in needs to your heart's content!

• Wifi check-ins
  (THIS IS A STANDALONE FEATURE WITH NO NEED FOR 3RD PARTY APPS)
  FsIntents can now check-in with the help of your existing wifi networks! Simply assign a Foursquare venue to a Wifi network and you will be checked in whenever you connect or are near to that network! Be it your office, your home or your favorite mall, you can automatically check-in automatically wherever there is Wifi available!

Shortcuts:
Create a shortcut on your homescreen by choosing one of your favorite venues.All you need to do now to check-in is touch the shortcut. You will receive a notification when your check-in is done.

2Step Check-ins
The Official Foursquare app substitute for check-ing in, 2Step Check-ins! Create an FsIntents 2Step shortcut on your homescreen, and check-in with only 2 steps:

  You're done! Never open your foursquare app for check-ing in again!

QR Check-ins
Visit http://goo.gl/5DuMe on your PC to create QR tags that you can then use to automatically check-in with FsIntents. Print out these tags and physically place them at your favorite venues so you and everyone else can check-in easier and faster! Use homescreen shortcut to scan the QR tags.

Voice Check-ins
Configure your favorite venues in FsIntents with voice commands, and check-in using your voice. Use homescreen shortcut to issue voice commands to FsIntents.

Note: AutoBarcode uses a Barcode Scanner installed on your phone. If no compatible scanner is found, it will open Android Market so you can download "Barcode Scanner" ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.google.zxing.client.android ) for free.

Very simple example: open Tasker and create a new profile with an AutoBarcode condition (State->plugin->AutoBarcode). To start out, check the Event checkbox and leave everything else blank. Then associate it with a task that simply flashes "Hello World!". After this run the AutoBarcode app and scan any QR Code with it. This should make  "Hello World!" flash on your screen!

With AutoBarcode you have advanced matching options and even a flexible command system (see how it works here: http://goo.gl/PRQas) that allows you to truly personalize your experience.

Here are some examples on how you can use AutoBarcode:

• AutoBarcode is the Quickest way to let Tasker know you're at a specific place if there's no wifi or you don't want or can't use wifi (work, car, specific bedroom in your home). For example, have a QR code ready on your car's dashboard. When you get there, just scan the code, and Tasker can start playing your favorite songs with the volume turned way up, while opening google maps to show you the way.
• Create QR codes that enable or disable specific settings on your phone: turn off sound, enable blutooth, enable wifi when you get to work, etc..
